On Friday, 22nd November at 6pm St. Luke’s Church, St Luke’s Cross, the Gathering edition of the Cork Literary Review, edited by Mr Eugene O’ Connell will be launched. Celebrating its 15th edition this year, and featuring a forward by An Taoiseach, Enda Kenny, the Cork Literary Review features the work of some of the most well established Irish poets from around the world.

A selection of Review contributors will read on the night including William Wall, Mary Noonan, Gerry Murphy and special guest Sandra Ann Winters (erstwhile winner of the Gregory O’Donoghue Prize). Ms. Winters writes and teaches Irish Literature in the US and will also perform a reading from her new chapbook Calving Under the Moon.

Tim O’Leary, friend and fellow musician of the late Tomás Ó Canainn, will pay tribute to the writer and musician who was a great friend of Tigh Filí and whose work featured regularly in the Review since its inception.
